Not to get philosophical (but totally getting philosophical), we don’t think it’s fair that bright minds only service the big ticket players. It’s both. And, it varies. So let’s unpack that!
With all new clients, we focus on two phases: the build phase and the support phase. The build phase is an initial build that ensures that your business strategies, brand and systems are in place so that when we launch the support phase we know that we have the right foundation in place to scale strategies and services effectively within the budget assigned. The build phase will always be a custom quote and usually takes anywhere from 1 to 3 months to complete. Then, clients transition to a support phase (minimum 3-month contract) where they pick and pull from our list of services to support the programs we’ve put in place.
Oftentimes, agencies tell clients they’ll “take over” and manage certain initiatives, but they don’t take the 360 approach to ensure a proper foundation is in place to support a successful program. The client signs a 6-month contract with said agency and then they don’t see the results they wanted/were promised or (worse) see inflated data to keep the contract. It’s like buying a plane ticket for a seat only, but the airline didn’t tell you there’d be an extra fee for the fuel to get you there. We don’t work that way. That’s why we call ourselves an anti-agency. We’re a collective of talent who looks at the big picture, connects the dots and works towards scale as your ROI grows. We’re not money hungry. We’re growth focused.
At the end of the day, no. But we do highly recommend that all new clients focus on a build phase because it allows for tons benefits:
1 – We get to deep dive into your current systems and strategies, and then, build programs for a higher success ratio. Think of it this way, you wouldn’t buy a used car without taking it to a trusted mechanic for their advice before moving forward. The same goes with transfer of marketing program management.
2 – Walk before you run. It’s simple: get a strategy in place within the resource spectrum available, and then, go crush it.
First of all, if any agency doesn’t offer reporting or makes it difficult to access reporting, they’re only doing one thing: covering their *ss. We have an immense amount of experience, but even the best companies miss the mark at times. We’re not afraid to grow from our clients’ evolving customer journeys. Fortunately, for us, we’ve not had a bad review yet. And we’ll continue working hard for that. So to answer your curiosity: hell yea we provide reports. You’re spending the dollars.
